Search Guide

How to find exactly the card you mean.

Type any words into the search box and WizardStonks matches them against card names, type lines, and rules text. Each word is prefix-matched, so "light" finds Lightning Bolt as well as Llanowar Lighthouse.

Field operators

Prefix a word with a field and a colon to scope it to just that part of the card.

n: (or name:)
Match only the card name, e.g. n:goblin.
t: (or type:)
Match only the type line, e.g. t:instant.
o: (or oracle:, text:)
Match only the rules text, e.g. o:trample.

Filter operators

These narrow a search by structured card data rather than text. Give at least one ordinary word (or a t:/o:/n: term) alongside them.

c: (or color:)
Colors the card is: c:r is red, c:rg is red and green, c:c is colorless, c:m is multicolor.
id: (or identity:)
Color identity, the same way — handy for Commander, e.g. id:wu.
r: (or rarity:)
Rarity: r:c, r:u, r:r, r:m (common, uncommon, rare, mythic).
mv: (or cmc:)
Mana value, with comparisons: mv=3, mv>=5, mv<2, mv!=0.
pow: / tou:
Power and toughness, compared the same way, e.g. pow>=4.
set: (or e:)
Cards from one set by its code, e.g. set:dom.

Combine them freely: t:dragon c:r r:mythic mv>=6 finds red mythic dragons costing six or more. Words without a known operator search every field at once.

Tidy links

Any search has a shareable URL of the form /cards/your+terms, and /random jumps to a random card. Sort results newest, oldest, by name, or by price from the control above the grid.
